Malandok

Malandok or Macanduc is the  god of war and plunder
patron god of sea raiders and bandits
prayed upon before and during war alongside Nagunid (god of war and poisons) and Barangaw (god of rainbow and hope)

Worshiped and venerated by the “Pintados” or tattooed warriors of Visayas
He who shared the secrets of sailing and warfare by sea to the Datus
vicious god who coveted the seven moons especially the boy moon Bulan to be his consort

like other creatures the god of war Macanduc saw the seven moons and awed by their beauty.
the god of war had fallen in love with the female aspects of the moon(s)  but he realizes that he can do nothing to win her heart. So he decides to capture her. But the only moon who descends onto earth was the boy Bulan who was peaceful, childlike and calm as he is beautiful. Malandok wanted him too (for war does not discriminate male or female) He waited for the boy moon Bulan to descend, the boy moon flew down to the sea and swam to where sea and fresh waters would meet. The god of war and was about to ensnare him but the death god Sidapa had intervened. They battled one another that shook the islands and the sea Until Sidapa was victorious, Malandok accepted defeat but vowed to one-day posses Bulan and all of the moons.
