Manama and Ogassi how the world was made

There was nothing but the vast darkness
and two beings Manama and Ogdassi
but they did not know one another existed. They had the same idea that they must create.
Out of his clean nail clippings Manma created a world of rock and stones
meanwhile out of his dirty nail clippings Ogassi created a world of dirt and soil.
they each made waters for the seas and other bodies of water, Manama's waters were from his sweat and Ogdasi's from his urine.

Ogassi's world became green and lush and beautiful. Vegetation and animals and birds sprung fort., meanwhile Manama's world was barren and only one tree can be seen. Manama saw that Ogassi's world was beautiful so Manama created the susuwetan. Manama ordered the susuwetan bird to fly to Ogassi's world and scrappe the rich soil to put into his barren one. after that Manama ordered susuwetan to peck the vegetation from Ogassi's world to plant into his world.

Ogassi saw that the barren world of Manaman became beautiful too, so he pondered, in his deep thought he wanted to see things of beauty so he created the moon. beautiful with a soft cold glow he decieded to make six more. As he finished creating the seven moon
his minions told him that the riches of that world of Manama was stolen from his world. Upon learning this Ogassi got angry and sent storms to crush the trees and plants. Manama angered by what Ogassi had done hurled thunderbolt, he hurled many until Ogassis world was destroyed. Ogassi and his minions could not be destroyed for they are immortal, they seek refuge in Manama's world hiding in the forest and caves and mountains, they became the "Tamawo" and the "busaws"

Manama created followers modeled after himself. Out of clay, he created a male and a female with two eyes, two hands and two feet. But while the Good God was searching for some ingredient to make them immortal, he left the figures untended on the riverbank.  The evil god got some abaca fibers and mixed them with the black ones on the heads of the figures. This would make them age and have a limited life on Earth.

Manama continued to long for immortal companions. After thinking a long time, he instructed the susuwetan bird to peck on a big bamboo tree in his kingdom. The bamboo split open and out stepped the first immortal man and woman.

The pair from the bamboo was attracted to each other, but they did not know how to do the sex act. Lying on the grass, they would rub their bodies against each other and hug and nothing else. The Susuwetan taught the man and woman how to procreate.

The children of the clay and the children of the bamboo became very numerous and populated the islands, One night they saw a "diwata" descend from the sky to the sea followed by Manama their "first father" to the mountain ( Mt. Apo in Davao)
